Davenport engineers and repair technicians have extensive experience with electrical AC & DC motor and generator repair, including hydroelectric generators, wind turbine generators, steam turbine generators, safety-related nuclear motors, main compressor motors, mill motors, underground mining motors, refiner motors and more.

We handle everything from IEC and Above IEC AC & DC motors (up to 15 kV) providing premium engineered insulation systems, engineering services, materials upgrades and modifications when you need increased reliability with more output power in the same footprint. Davenport also offers coil manufacturing for AC & DC motor and generator rewinding, to maintain control over quality and lead times.

Davenport can provide four of the industry’s leading rewind technologies. The premium engineered insulation systems we provide come with industry-leading warranties. Their superior performance improves efficiency ratings and often permits design up-rates. In addition to electrical performance improvements, mechanical modifications to enclosures, brackets, shafts, seals and bearings are available.

Davenport provides coil manufacturing for motor and generator rewindings, while maintaining control over quality and lead time.
